Hi Eurocun!
It has been awhile.. Let's talk about my first week in Cancún. What is my impression so far, and what did I do?
I arrived the 25th of August in Cancún, around 10pm. It was a very long trip, about 22 hours of traveling! Luckily I had a great flight, I was able to watch five movies and I read on my ereader. During my transfer I got a little tired.. I couldn't stop from nodding! The last 3,5 hours from Atlanta to Cancún I was mostly asleep. When I arrived I had to wait for my landlord, she was going to pick me up from the airport. When arrived in the house I am going to stay in for the upcoming months, she ordered a Mexican pizza. Well, let's say I was on fire and not used to the chiles!
Friday I went to the groceries stores to buy the common things I will be needing these months, like toothpaste, sunscreen, a hat, alöe vera (yes I got a sunburn already), mosquito spray and such things. Saturday I went visiting friends in Playa del Carmen, and I spent my Sunday on the beach in the Hotel Zone of Cancún.
This monday I started my internship at Zenit Publicidad. I am very positive about my work and the team, they are such nice people! And it is Friday already, so time for weekend! I think I might take the ferry to Isla Mujeres tomorrow, because I am very curious about the island! I was told to go visit the turtles centre and the beautiful beaches and city centres.
Next week my next blogpost will be on the blog, so stay tuned!
Muchos besos, Ko
(they call me Ko in here, because it is very hard to pronounce my name)
