New blogger: Kootje

Hola Eurocun!

I am Kootje Dijkstra, 19 years old and a marketing&business student from the Netherlands. From August 2016 to January 2017, I will be the new blogger on this website. Ineke left Cancun last month, so I am taking over now. I have been in Cancun 10 years ago, which I unfortunately do not really remember anymore, except for the extremely blue sea and the tacos. For the upcoming months, I will write down my experiences in Cancun, offer some advices and share some tips about life in Mexico.

I was asked to write down my expectations of Cancun.. well, let's start with that clear blue sea then, the history of Yucatan, the Cenotes, the local places. I prepared some trips to do during my stay in Cancun. But also, work has to be done! I am really looking forward to my internship here, but the weekends will hopefully be filled with lots of trips to beautiful places. Also, I found a nice apartment, and it would be nice to meet some nice people to hang out with and make friends there!
