Cozumel is one of the largest islands in Mexico where you can do a lot of nice things. Did you know that Isla Cozumel is very famous for its diving and snorkelling, because of its magnificent coral reefs that are only a short distance from the shore? It is a paradise!

We made a top 5 for you, so you won't miss the most beautiful spots in Cozumel.
1 – Palancar beach: one of the best all-round beach spots where you can do water sports, go kayaking, diving, snorkelling or sailing.
2 – Shop at Plaza del Sol: the main souvenir-shopping area. Here you will find a cluster of duty-free shops and local shops.
3 - Punta Sur Park Ecological Reserve: the largest ecological reserve located at the southern tip of Isla Cozumel. Attractions include navigation museum, Faro Celarain lighthouse, crocodiles and a boat trip.
4 – El Cedral: a small and interesting village built around the oldest Mayan ruin in Cozumel. Every year Cozumel celebrates ‘Feria El Cadral’ which brings people from all around Mexico to take part. It features horse racing, concerts, lots of food, and so on.
5 – Baby Sea Turtle Hatching: you can find these cute baby sea turtles on the gorgeous beaches of the eastern shore of Cozumel. They generally lay around 150 eggs and are able to nest as many as 6 times during one season.
