FOOD IN CANCÚN
In Cancún are several options for dining. You can choose between several restaurants in different price ranges, street food, Parque las Palapas and food trucks. You can find a list of some possibilities below.

Restaurants
There are many good restaurants in Cancún that provide good meat and fish. Since there is plenty of fish in the Cancún surrounding, it is recommended to try the fish in the restaurants, since it is in most cases really fresh and tasty. You can find some recommendations below.
1. MAR-BELLA (FISH)
Located in Puerto Juarez. All catch is fresh and the best part is that there's no menu. They will prepare your favorite fish or seafood the way you like. Servers are very knowledgeable an the view is amazing!

2. EL PESCADO CIEGO (FISH)
Located downtown Cancun. Serves fresh fish for a good price.

3. HARRY'S PRIME STEAKHOUSE & RAW BAR (MEAT)
Located in the Hotelzone. The restaurant has a wonderful decor, and a beautiful view over the lagoon with a pretty sunset. The menu is large and reasonably priced for the quality they offer. You will find all different types of food, so this restaurant will accommodate anyone in your party.

4. PUERTO MADERO (MEAT)
Located in the Hotelzone. Puerto Madero offers great service, fresh food, and a lovely atmosphere. You should definetely go there!

Parque las Palapas
Parque las Palapas is a very nice square that is considered as a classic place to meet for most of the residents, thus it is the real heart of the city of Cancún. There is a main stage perfectly visible where the shows are easily enjoyed. In the north of the park is a open-air food court with 14 stands where you can try the real Mexican food. You can enjoy the real Mexican tacos, quesadillas and burritos for a few pesos. Furthermore, you can find here local handcrafts and souvenirs, and a playground.
Foodtrucks
In Cancún, food trucks are generally known. There are many different places where food trucks gather. The food is good, not expensive and you will have a really cosy and pleasant evening here. One of the multiple places where you can find foodtrucks is on Avenida Nichupte, next to Galerias Infinity.
Street Food
At almost every street corner you will find someone who sells food. Most of the time, this food is very cheap and tastes good. The following dishes are often sold on the street:

Esquites
Corn in a cup. The corn is cut off of the cob and a wild array of condiments is offered as toppings, and then eaten with a spoon. -
Fruit

Conchinita pibil
Cochinita means baby pig, and pibil is the Mayan word for buried, which perfectly describes the dish. -
Kibis
Made from rough ground wheat and filled with different meats or cheese, then they are fried. Kibis are football shaped and topped with picked red onion, shredded white cabbage and habanero peppers if you dare. -
Panucho
A Panucho is a fried tortilla with refried black beans either spread on top or stuffed in the middle of the puffed up tortilla. They are toped with different meat like shredded chicken or sliced beef and pickled red onions and perhaps shredded white cabbage.
