The Beach

I think at this point I am quiet over my jetlag. Lidia took me to the beach today. The other day we went to see it but the weather was not that nice and we didn’t really go to the beach beach.

We took Lidia’s dog with us and after we parked the car we walked through the grand theater where on the other side was the beach. It was a-ma-zing, today was a nice and sunny day with now an then a cloud, which was perfect because only sun will melt you down. We walked along the water with the dog and passed several bars, hotels with lousy people and ended up walking along luxurious private villas. It occurred to me that all villas where not occupied and most of them where empty, Lidia told me that it is way to cold for Mexican people this time of the year to go to the beach, and I was like, even the best summer days in the Netherlands are not quiet as good as this one. Don’t get it. We decided to lay down for a bit on the beach under a palm tree, it was very nice and it felt as I was on holiday. From where we were sitting, we could see Isla Mujeres over the sea. It was beautiful, and I definitely have to go there one time.
