Yesterday was a very busy day. It was sunday and we decided to do something fun. Lily, Saulo and me first went to the Mayan Museum in the Hotel Zone. It was free for students if you show your school pass and I had to pretent I was Mexican. But it was nice, the Mayans had some nice stuff. Lily thought it was funny to say that the Mayans were good in giving parties because everywhere she saw big cups for drinks and pipes for weed. We didn’t know what they really used it for, but we think it’s for the parties. There is also a jungle in the back of the museum with ruines and a lot of iguanas. After the museum, we went to the centre of downtown Cancún, where Saulo lives. He knew a very good Mexican restaurant with typical Mexican food and it’s delicious! We took a big plate filled with shrimps, fish and rice, and mojito’s. Saulo took an ojo rojo. The food was so good, but too much! It was amazing. I also learnt some spanish phrases, like: “No mames” (no way) and “Que oso” (shame). After the food we where really tired and wanted to relax on the beach. We took a bus to the Hotel Zone and went to Playa Delphines. We watched some guys playing soccer and watched the sun go down. It was a busy but really nice day!
